[Thrips infesting tea in Taiwan]
Plant Protection Bulletin (Taipei) 21, 377-382
Abstract: The specimens were collected from the tea plants in Northern Taiwan. Ten species of thrips were obtained and identified. Among them, Dendrothrips minowai is new to Taiwan.
Ceratothrips lefroyi, Scirtothrips dorsalis and Thrips hawaiiensis are the most important thrips infesting tea in Northern Taiwan. Thrips flavus shows little difference from those collected from other host plants, the body being larger and the antenna 8 -segmented.
